Youth Think Tank

The Youth Think Tank is a new initiative of Regional Community Builders (RCB), which is an Inverell-based non profit community group. The Youth Think Tank will be a group of up to 6 youth aged between 12 and 24 years. 

The purpose of the Youth Think Tank is to be the voice of local youth, assist to identify gaps in youth programs, support research initiatives so we can learn more about youth interests; and help us plan future grant funding applications. 

We welcome Youth Think Tank applications from youth who are culturally diverse, neurodivergent, Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander, passionate about their community and / or youth who identity as LGBTIQA+.

The Youth Think Tank is proudly funded by the NSW Government.

Details

Each Youth Think Tank meeting will be a maximum of one hour long. 

Youth who are selected to join the Youth Think Tank will be paid $60 for each meeting they attend. The Think Tank will meet up to 4 times during 2025.

Meetings will be held at the office of Ladybug Projects, which is located at 6/18 Sweaney Street, Inverell. All meetings will be attended by Fiona Adams and Christy Galbraith, who will facilitate the meeting.

Applicants can be attending a school, be homeschooled or may no longer be a student. 

The selection of participants for the Youth Think Tank will be determined by RCB. All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application by 31 January 2025.
