Battle on the Bank

Hosted by the Youth Think Tank Team on Friday 20 June 2025, Battle on the Bank is an event organised by youth for youth. The event invites local music acts, including individual performers and bands aged 12 - 24 to perform on stage in Campbell Park (near Coles) in Inverell.  

Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place on the day, with the results determined by audience voting. 

  • First prize: $300

  • Second place: $150

  • Third place: $50

Who are the Youth Think Tank Team?

Team members are aged between 14 and 24 and include:

Guidelines

  1. Entrants may be a solo artist or band members (Entrant/s) and must be aged 12 -24

  2. By entering the Competition, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  3. Entrants aged less than 18 years old must provide permission from a parent or guardian to enter the Competition and confirmation that a parent or guardian have read and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  4. Entrants may perform an original song or a cover.

  5. There is no entry fee.

  6. The Youth Think Tank team will review each applicant and determine which applicants will perform at Battle on the Bank on 20 June, 2025. Applicants will be notified by 31 May 2025 if they are selected to perform at the event.

  7. If an Entrant’s contact details change, the Entrant must notify yttt@ladybugprojects.com.au of the updated contact details.

  8. Each Entrant will be able to perform one song at the event and must be present for presentation of first, second or third place prizes in order to receive the prize.

  9. Entrants must meet organisers at the venue by 4.30pm on Friday 20 June, 2025.

  10. There will be three winners announced during the Event with the following prizes: First place $250 • Second place $150 • Third place $50.

  11. Winners will be voted by the public, who will choose their favourite performance during the Event via a ballot voting process arranged by the Youth Think Tank Team.

  12. By participating in the Competition, Entrants: a) grant the organisers consent to take their photos and videos; b) give consent to the organisers to publish the photos and videos of their act on its websites; c) give the organisers the right to use the photos and videos of their act for future programs and activities.
